About
“If I’m an advocate for anything, it’s to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river.” These beautiful words by the late great travel authority Anthony Bourdain mean so much in today’s business world – where looking beyond borders is becoming the #1 growth strategy.

Data shows the conviction to internationalise has strengthened. Seven in 10 of businesses (71%) interviewed in Singapore that have gone overseas or plan to go overseas see the need to internationalise because the domestic market is too small and that expanding abroad is the way to grow the business. Similarly, more than two-thirds of SMEs interviewed (69%) in Australia plan to be operating outside Australia by 2027.

If growth is overseas, then so is talent – so it is imperative for employers to build, scale, and evolve strategies for hiring talent beyond borders. This is especially critical given the costs and complexity of opening new entities.

To address this global employment phenomenon, Human Resources Online has collaborated with Remote to bring you a one-hour webinar dedicated to ensuring that hiring abroad feels just like hiring at home.

During this 60-minute conversation, you can look forward to a panel discussion covering:
  • The "why" of looking outside the incorporated country for talent,
  • The "how" of global hiring given the difficulty of doing so without an entity
  • Viable solutions to expand a business across borders using top talent, including partnership models,
  • Relevant metrics such as the effort required for a company based in one country to hire engineers in another country - the permits, time, costs, etc.
  • Insights and strategies undertaken by organisations in global expansion.

It's time to take advantage of a global talent market without the intense costs and burdens of opening new legal entities. See you at the webinar!
