ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
Labs performing infectious disease testing within a MolDX jurisdiction and billing to Medicare Part B are subject to a new Local Coverage Determination (LCD) that is significantly impacting reimbursement for infectious disease testing. Labs in affected MACs are now required to register for a unique DEX code z-identifier to receive a fixed reimbursement for laboratory developed tests or “expanded” panels that test for more than five targets.
But what exactly is the purpose of the MolDX program, and when does a lab know if it needs to apply for a Z-Code? Join us for this upcoming webinar as we discuss:
• Recently introduced LCDs impacting reimbursement.
• A brief history of MolDX and a discussion on the program’s potential expansion.
• How to know when your LDT or expanded panel requires a Z-Code.
• Steps for receiving a Z-Code, including a breakdown of the required technical assessment.
