The case of Rakusen v. Jepsen is about whether a tenant in a 'rent to rent' situation can claim for a Rent Repayment Order against the superior landlord as well as their direct landlord. Or not.

Initially, the Courts held that you could, but this decision was then successfully challenged in the Court of Appeal.

In this webinar, we discuss the case with barrister Justin Bates who acted for Safer Renting who were interveners in the case.
