The Association of West Indian Gastroenterologists (AWIG) is the main professional association for gastroenterologists in the English speaking Caribbean. The post-graduate course is directed mainly at the membership, which consists primarily of practicing clinical gastroenterologists, and a few radiologists, surgeons, and pathologists.
