The Association of West Indian Gastroenterologists (AWIG) is the main professional association for gastroenterologists in the English speaking Caribbean. The post-graduate course is directed mainly at the membership, which consists primarily of practicing clinical gastroenterologists, and a few radiologists, surgeons, and pathologists.
The membership as a whole has a strong interest in clinical excellence, pursuing clinical research and functioning as GI Medical Experts applying medical knowledge, clinical skills, and professional attitudes in their provision of patient-centered care.

At the end of this event, participants should:
1. Have in-depth knowledge of the variables and steps involved in the use of antithrombotics periprocedurally.
