Compass and PSW Training

As previously approved by the General Conference and shared at Annual Conference, Wespath is implementing a new retirement plan called Compass on January 1, 2026. Holston Board of Pensions and Health Benefits has been working diligently to assist our clergy, church treasurers, SPRC chairs, and financial administrators in this transition. As a part of assisting with transition and ensuring that clergy and treasurers/financial administrators four sessions will be offered across the conference from August 20th through August 24th. Members of Holston Conference Board of Pensions and Health Benefits will facilitate the training utilizing materials provided by Wespath. These will be hands-on sessions designed to help participants not only understand the new plan but also navigate the website and complete necessary enrollment forms. Participants are encouraged to bring laptops and/or tablets. Additionally, training and assistance will be offered for Pastor’s Support Worksheets with changes necessitated by the new Compass plan.

While the primary focus for the first hour will be on Compass, information regarding the Ulliance Employment Assistance Program and 2026 Health Insurance rates will also be provided.

The second hour will focus on the Pastor's Support Worksheet and clergy compensation.

All clergy and treasurers/financial administrators, and SPRC chairs are invited and encouraged to attend.
