About
Prevention of sexual assault requires the use of an intersectional framework, critical race theory, and deconstruction of a sexist paradigm. Ensuring that our message is accessible, palatable, and digestible we must become skilled with artful conversations, the willingness to confront our own and others’ beliefs while compelling action to end gender-based violence. In this workshop participants will increase their skill in having difficult conversations, increase their knowledge of theoretical intersections with practice, and will learn how to use their own personality to create authentic connections to ensure transmission of information. This workshop will use lecture, case example, and group dialogue.
