    Brian Kane is the founding partner, Chief Technology Officer, and member of the Board of Directors at Global Ocean Security Technologies (GOST). His duties at GOST include overseeing design, integration, and support of their full line of security, tracking, monitoring, and video surveillance technologies for leisure, commercial, and governmental clients.  His role puts him in direct contact every day with Marine Electronics dealers, yacht owners, managers and crew the world over, giving him unique insight into the industry and what it takes to keep the deliver customer peace of mind when away from or aboard their vessel.

    Danny Murphy
    Marine Professionals Inc.
    Danny joined the MPI team in 2012 as a technician in training and is now leading our tech team. He is a certified NMEA Advanced MEI installer, and is also certified in NMEA2000, Raymarine, Garmin, Navico, Gost, and KVH products. In addition to working at MPI, Danny spends much of his free time on boats, enjoying wake boarding at his family’s house in Lake Placid, FL, working on his ’67 Boston Whaler that he rebuilt, and spending time with his wife Ashley and their new daughter Kathryn.

    Darrell Milburn
    J&A Enterprises
    Darrell Milburn is the Principal Engineer at J&A Enterprises. As principal engineer, Darrell coordinates the noise and vibration prediction, design, and analysis work at J&A. In addition to this work, he conducts noise and vibration measurements on vessels around the world. These tests include independent certified acceptance testing at the time of vessel delivery to confirm compliance with contract requirements, baseline noise and vibration measurements prior to docking or refit, and diagnostic troubleshooting analysis to identify the root causes of noise and vibration complaints.

    John Allen
    Quantum Marine Stabilizers
    Graduating from Trent Polytechnic in Nottingham, UK in engineering along with completing a five-year apprenticeship program as a tool maker for the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defence, prepared John Allen for a career in the marine stabilizer industry. He opened Quantum Marine Engineering/Quantum Marine Stabilizers, in Rhode Island in 1985 with two people and 35 years later has grown to 100 employees in two countries—United States and The Netherlands.John has always been very philanthropic between sponsorships and donations with a keen awareness of those in need. He was awarded Business Person of the Year by the International Superyacht Society in 2016 and continues to be an industry icon.

    Dan Robsham
    Marine Nautical Surveyors
    Dan Robsham graduated from Maine Maritime Academy in 1982 and enjoyed a seagoing career an engineer on a variety of motor, steam and gas turbine powered ships. Dan joined ABS Americas and ABS Europe in 1994 as a Classification Surveyor and ISO / ISM Auditor stationed in the United States and Arabian Gulf. He owns Mariner Technical Services, a marine survey and superintendancy firm serving US and international clients, including yacht managers, law firms and underwriters. He maintains an unlimited chief engineer’s license for motor and gas turbine vessels, and is a NAMS-GLOBAL accredited hull & machinery surveyor.

    Steve Gorman

    Steve Gorman is currently the KVH Regional Sales Manager in Florida and part of the KVH Superyacht Group. He has a long Marine Electronics technical background and uses knowledge gained from technical skills to not only help with sales but support the KVH Industries marine products. In 1998 he partnered with an industry friend and took over as the owner/operator of Norwegian Marine Electronics in Pompano Beach selling, installing, and servicing all types of communications and marine electronic systems all over the world.

    Marc has lived and worked in and around the water for his entire life. He began his career in the Scituate Harbormaster’s office, quickly rising to become the youngest ever Assistant Harbormaster and later launching a new boat launch service in Scituate Harbor. While project managing a refit on a 54 ft Striker in Fort Lauderdale, Marc sowed the seeds for launching MPI to provide South Florida with the ultimate one-stop-shop for Yacht Service. Since 1997, MPI has grown to become the premier marine service company in South Florida.
