Scott has been with Atlass Insurance since 2001 when he joined Frank Atlass as managing partner. He was previously a Senior Vice President with World Marine Underwriters since 1986. Scott was previously a charter boat yacht captain, fishing out of Sea Love Marina Ponce Inlet aboard ‘ESCAPE HATCH’
Scott manages the retail insurance divisions of commercial and personal lines insurance with primary responsibility for oversight of the marine division with specific emphasis on Mega Yachts. Lloyds of London coverholder for Seawave Insurance Program since 2006. Lloyds of London coverholder for Prime Time Insurance Program since 2013. Seawave Insurance Program is the largest and longest running insurance program at Lloyds of London.

Paul has been involved in the marine industry for almost his entire life, having started as a dock boy on Eastern Long Island in the late 1960's and working his way up to the position of captain on custom sportfishing boats in the tournament circuit. He holds a 500 ton U.S.C.G. Masters license, has traveled many of the oceans of the world and is also a licensed private pilot.
In 1992, Paul began working in a yacht brokerage position in Jacksonville Fl. and in 1996, he opened Flannery Yachts, Inc where he was a new boat dealer, ran a complete marine service company and enjoyed great success in the brokerage markets. In 2004, Flannery Yachts combined efforts with HMY Yacht Sales and launched the North Florida representation for various high end production new boat brands as well as brokerage sales. His affiliation with HMY lasted for 12 years and the final two years of Paul's brokerage career were spent with SYS Yachts as Director of Sales, Palm Beach Division.
In early 2018, Paul was approached by the Executive Committee of IYBA and asked to assume the role of Executive Director on a full-time basis, where he currently directs the day to day operations of the association. His current duties involve the coordination of seminars, networking events, legislative affairs and working with the Board of Directors to shepherd the growth of the organization. When asked what he enjoys most regarding his career, he says that he genuinely enjoys the opportunity to continue to "give back" to the industry which has given him so much.

Nancy Poppe has over 24 years’ experience as an insurance broker exclusively serving the needs of superyacht owners. As North American Yacht Practice Leader, Nancy is responsible for building the niche’s brand and reputation as well as developing its client base. Nancy also oversees the Practice’s delivery of quality yacht risk management and insurance broking expertise to superyacht owners.Nancy is based in Fort Lauderdale.Before joining Willis Towers Watsonin 2008, Nancy led the yacht practice of another global broker for 10 years. There, she played a key role in building the knowledge base and substantially growing their business. Prior to that, she spent six years as a general Commercial Property & Casualty broker with a national insurance brokerage firm.Nancy has experience in all aspects of the yacht insurance programfor superyachtowners, including:
■Bespoke solutions and best advice customized to meet the specific needs of each yacht owner. We work for the owner to negotiate insurance with specialist insurers all over the world and provide tailored solutions foreach individual client.
■New build consultation which includes a review of the build contract and the yard’s insurance to provide recommendations about whether the owner requires supplemental insurance.
■Claims Support by serving as a direct advocate for our clients and helping to adjust claims versus just reporting them.
A recognized expert in both the yacht and high net worth services community, Nancy is a regular speaker at various yacht industry events, as well as for groups such as Family Office Exchange, Family Wealth Alliance and Massachusetts Continuing Education Legal, Inc. Nancy regularly contributes to various publications as a subject matter expert. Nancy is a prior board member of the International Superyacht Society and a current member of the International Yacht Brokers Association and the U.S. Superyacht Association.

Nancy earned her BBA from Hofstra University.She has also held her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation since 2000.
Manager, Business Development at MHG Insurance
Clayton Swart is a Business Development Manager specializing in yacht crew insurance and yacht charter cancellation.
Prior to joining MHG in 2013, Clayton spent much of his career in yachting and sales, from working onboard luxury yachts, to later selling them. With his connections and loyalty to the yachting community as well as to Fort Lauderdale, Clayton’s background and experience makes him an integral member of the MHG team.
Clayton is very involved in the yachting industry and local business community. Clayton served on the U.S. Superyacht Association (USSA) board for over five years, is a member of the International Yacht Broker’s Association (IYBA), and is a founding member of the non-profit Young Professionals in Yachting.
