Sensors: how can railways prepare for incidents?

ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
Incidents on the railways are unfortunately inevitable. They can also be complex and involve more than one factor - from the unpredictability of the environment or of people, to the failure of infrastructure or the train itself.

There is therefore a vital need for comprehensive real-time data about the network and its operation. This session will look at how sensors and other digital technologies can be best deployed as part of an efficient safety strategy. How can we predict, prepare for and hopefully prevent, incidents? Expert speakers include global association UIC, national passenger operator Trenitalia, incident management experts Frequentis, and vision sensor technology providers Rail Vision.
