Lonza Bioscience Solutions provides life science researchers with the tools they need to develop and test critical disease-treating drugs and therapies, from basic research to final product release. Lonza provides an integrated portfolio of primary cells, media and reagents, to support drug discovery and preclinical pharmaceutical work flow for toxicity and safety testing to better understand the pharmacokinetics and metabolism of new compounds.

We will review our portfolio of primary human cells and optimized media systems and custom services for tissue acquisition, isolation, and production. Kevin has a long history in the life sciences industry having worked in technical product support, product management and marketing at several key suppliers such as Lonza, ATCC, and Life Technologies. He is currently focused on developing Lonza’s participation in the drug discovery market for small molecules. In all his roles, Kevin’s main objective has always been to assist researchers in being more productive by providing tools and solutions that meet the constantly changing market needs.

Manisha Nautiyal, PhD
Principal Scientist, Lonza
Manisha is an interdisciplinary scientist with extensive experience in in vitro assay development for drug discovery and pre-clinical drug-safety studies. Her area of expertise includes the application of mammalian cell and organotypic culture models integrating high-throughput analytical approaches with novel in vitro platforms to solve drug safety problems in drug-induced liver injury and liver diseases. She currently leads several R&D innovation projects to support and expand Lonza’s primary cell, assay and media portfolio within Cell Discovery R&D at Lonza Biosciences.
