NHMRC Early-Career Fellow, Macquarie University
Sidong Liu is National Health and Medicine Research Council (NHMRC) Early Career Fellow at Macquarie University. In 2019, he established the Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging research stream at Australian Institute of Health Innovation (AIHI), and has been leading this research stream since then. His expertise, in medical imaging, computer vision and machine learning, entails developing novel artificial intelligence methods for medical image analysis and identifying high value use cases for precision healthcare in clinical settings.

Asia Pacific South Solutions Architecture Manager, NVIDIA
Michael has been active in the infrastructure, virtualization, and VDI spaces for well over a decade, as a partner, vendor, and always as an advocate for improved business outcomes. Whether it’s with a mining, government, or defence customer, or an architectural firm looking to solve challenges or increase productivity, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to benefit his customers. He currently holds the role of Manager of Solutions Architecture for Asia Pacific South at NVIDIA, and in addition, he is an Intelligent Video Analytics Solutions Architect for Deep Learning-based solutions at NVIDIA ANZ.

Michael holds multiple technical certifications, is an NVIDIA Certified Deep Learning Instructor and has a Masters in Cyber Security, and holds degrees in Psychology and Philosophy.
