Calling all robots: Planning for embodied AI in the workforce
Is your organization ready for the robotic workforce that's already arriving?
Humanoid robots and autonomous machines are no longer science fiction. They're entering warehouses, restaurants, and city streets right now. Goldman Sachs projects up to 10 million humanoid robots shipped annually within a decade. The question isn't whether this will affect your industry. It's whether you'll be ready when it does.
Does any of this sound familiar?
- You're uncertain which industries and roles will be disrupted first - and whether yours is one of them
- You don't know when to start planning, and fear acting too early or too late
- Safety, liability, and regulation around robotic co-workers feel like an uncharted minefield
- You're unsure whether robots will replace your workforce - or actually solve your recruitment and retention challenges
- Leadership is asking questions about AI and automation you're not yet equipped to answer
This vodcast gives you the clarity to act.
"Calling All Robots" brings together two leading voices at the intersection of safety, technology, and business strategy. In an accessible, conversation-driven format, they cut through the hype and give you a grounded, practical view of what's already happening, and what smart organizations are doing about it today.
Walk away with:
- A realistic timeline for robotic adoption across key industries
- A clear framework for evaluating the business case, safety implications, and maintenance realities of robotic co-workers
- Insight into how robots can address workforce challenges
- Concrete starting points for planning your organization's robotic future
- Confidence to engage in strategic conversations about AI and automation at the leadership level
Who is this for?

Scott Jonas Hansen was Head of Safety Innovation at Reynolds and Moore. He worked there at the frontline of making new technologies safe for real-world use, quadrupeds, humanoids, and other machines at the edge of what's deployable. A company like Coloplast could easily have been an R&M client. Scott would have advised from the outside on how embodied AI could strengthen its test capabilities and production capacity. Instead, he joined it directly. He's now Head of Test Development Engineering at Coloplast, building test and prototype engineering into one strong discipline. Same rigor, different stakes: patient outcomes instead of factory floors.
Mark Bünger is CTO and cofounder of Futurity Systems, and a recognized expert on innovation strategy and the future of work. Formerly at Accenture, UCSF, Forrester Research, Lux Research, and five startups, he brings a broad range of industry and emerging technology experience. He and his team are building Futurity Analysis and Synthesis Tools (FAST), which combines the world's largest knowledge graph of innovation with AI and human creativity to build better futures faster.
Together, they bring a rare combination of operational, safety, and strategic perspectives.
