Enrique Cachafeiro shares seven years of his work applying different forms of gamification in a high school science classroom. From the use of narrative with little mechanics, the use of pure mechanics and no narrative, the application of a board game to run the entire curriculum and even the use of virtual worlds, come hear some of the successes, the less than successes, and the reactions and the results from students of different forms serious play. As a group, we can discuss where this is headed and what the future of gamification might look like based on Enrique's, and the audience’s, experience.
