ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
LIKE is a film-based education program exploring the impact of social media on our lives and the effects of technology on the brain. The goal of the film is to inspire us to self-regulate. Social media is a tool and social platforms are a place to connect, share, and care … but is that what's really happening?
During this period of Covid-19 physical distancing and remote learning, technology is playing an increased and necessary role in all of our lives. With that comes a responsibility to review how to find balance, while simultaneously reflecting on how to navigate our use in a way that is supportive and not further isolating. We hope to use this documentary as a conversation starter centered around our collective well-being and engagement with technology.
We will be showing the film at 4:30pm, which will promptly be followed by a panel discussion and include access to further resources & materials.
