BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine invites you to enjoy a special online event with Monty Don and magazine editor, Lucy Hall. Monty will be sharing tales from a life of gardening and reveal what goes on behind the scenes at Longmeadow, his private garden and location for the nation’s longest-running gardening television programme.
Both Longmeadow and BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine turned 30 this year, so Monty will be reflecting on the past three decades. He will share the story of how it all started at Longmeadow and the changes he has made over the years, to create the Longmeadow of today. Many projects were driven by filming for the show yet, despite this, Longmeadow remains a treasured private garden for Monty and his family.
Gardens are constantly evolving, so join Monty and Lucy as they reflect on the past and look forward to the future in one of the nation’s favourite gardens.
At the end of the talk, you will have the opportunity to ask Monty questions.
