Sean Gahan
Global Technical Service Manager
Sean Gahan is a Technical Service Manager for Primient Covation LLC (previously DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products Company, LLC) since 2018. Sean is a graduate of Clemson University with a MS in Chemistry. Currently, at Primient Covation LLC, he is globally responsible for customer technical support and new business development related to the Bio-PDO™ product for all market segments and end-use applications.

Since joining the business, Sean has been involved in numerous technical projects that have contributed to technical learnings and development of value propositions concerning the use of bio-based 1,3-Propanediol in all market segments including Cosmetics & Personal Care, HI&I, Food & Flavors, Polyurethanes & Coatings, and Functional Fluids.

Apart from his activities at Primient Covation LLC, Sean previously worked in the coatings industry focusing on water-based wood coatings & sealants and flexographic & gravure printing inks focused on improving existing formulations, developing new formulations, and optimizing product processing conditions to improve product consistency and product quality.
