About
How to begin a living donor liver transplantation program? A group from Memphis will talk about lessons learned.
Use of ECMO for liver transplant recipients has significantly increased in recent years. In this session, we will discuss our experience in ECMO utilization, as well as new indications for ECMO.
Anesthesiologists and critical care workers do not usually follow the progression of their patients after discharge from the hospital, while hepatologists follow patients several years after transplantation. In this session, we are going to talk about life after liver transplantation: long term postoperative problems and difficulties in returning to normal life.
