About
Addiction rarely affects only the person struggling with substance use. It ripples through the entire family system, shaping relationships, roles, and emotional well-being.

This workshop will introduce you to family systems theory as it relates to addiction, exploring how the dynamics within an addicted or traumatized family system develop and persist. You’ll learn how addiction affects both individuals and the family unit, and discover therapeutic methods that affirm, support, and empower family members as they navigate this complex journey.

By the end of this session, you’ll have the perspectives and practical tools you need to approach these situations with confidence, compassion, and clinical clarity.
