About
Research shows that, when recruiting for leadership positions, global executives persistently rate the skills of motivating and developing other people as highly important leadership competencies. However, these same skills are also consistently shown to be the least demonstrated by leaders worldwide. One of the main causes of leaders failing to motivate and develop is the old-fashioned belief that the role of the leader is to coerce and control people.

Developing the capability of holding effective coaching conversations gives leaders the skills to empower others to develop themselves as leaders, encouraging independent problem-solving, opportunity creation and ultimately improving performance. Leaders that develop coaching skills also see progressively higher levels of employee engagement, motivation and efficiency. An essential quality of a Leader as Coach is their ability to empower others towards intrinsic motivation.

In this webinar we will look at what coaching is and how you can leverage listening and powerful questioning to enhance your leadership skills and become a force for positive change in your environment.
