Christel has 19 years of project support, operational management and executive assistant experience gained from both the public and private sector including the NHS, Local Councils and large scale corporate Law Firms. Now solely focusing on project support and management at USP College, she strives to get the best from both people and processes and prides herself on her ability to organise and lead a variation of different projects simultaneously.

Dan Pearson

Principal & CEO - USP College

Dan has 20 years’ experience working in education, having spent the past decade in senior leadership roles. Dan gained his qualification in Strategic Leadership from the University of Oxford, and prides himself on his open, creative and innovative approach to driving improvements in educational quality and outcomes.

Dan is the Chairman of the Federation of Essex Colleges (FEDEC).

James Parker

Head of Education Improvement- USP College

James has spent the past decade working in the FE sector as a science teacher, Head of Department for STEM and more recently heading up the Quality and Teaching and Learning team. He has spent the past 4 years working closely with college curriculum and quality teams to reimagine the role of technology within education through promoting experimentation, innovation and the diffusion and sharing of best practice. James is key interests are in evolving from teacher centred, lecture-based lessons to student centred, interactive learning environments through the use of technology.
