About

Electronic warfare, advanced radar, and SATCOM systems require various extents of wideband Ka-band power with instant-on availability, continuous-wave (or quasi-continuous-wave) performance and long-term reliability. While TWTAs deliver output power, they introduce maintenance burden, warm-up delay and lifecycle risk. Modern spatially combined GaN SSPAs now provide field-proven, integrated subsystem solutions with graceful degradation, fault monitoring and optimized SWaP-C at the full solution level. This webinar explores system-level strategies for transitioning from tube-based amplifiers to mission-ready solid-state architectures.
