Matt Hatton

Matt is a well respected commentator and technology industry expert with over 20 years experience at the cutting edge of technology research and consulting. He is a thought-leader in Digital Transformation and the Internet of Things. He is widely quoted in trade publications and frequent speaker at conferences. His podcast, The Wireless Noodle is a weekly guide to the impact of disruptive technologies on business. In 2020 Matt co-wrote a book 'The Internet of Things Myth'.

Matt was formerly a Founder and the CEO of Machina Research, the world's leading IoT and Big Data analyst firm, which was acquired by Gartner in 2016. Prior to founding Machina Research Matt was a technology industry analyst, working at firms including Analysys Mason and Yankee Group. He holds an MSc in Telecoms from University College London.
Arne Aßmann
VP Commercial, 1NCE
Arne is responsible for Strategy, Marketing and Commercials at 1NCE. Within that position he is managing the communication and brand perception of 1NCE, as well as the commercial setup of the company.

Arne has gained over 10 years of experience in the IoT market, but also is specialized in overseeing trends and developments in TIMES markets.

Prior to his role at 1NCE, Arne was working as an Analyst and Consultant for Statista over 9 years.
Erik Kling
President & Head of IoT Americas, Vodafone Business
Erik Kling has more than 25 years of experience in the communication technology field covering hardware, software, services and solution elements of the industry. Erik has held senior sales and product management roles at Siemens Communications and wireless startup companies along with over 15 years specifically in the IoT space.

Erik joined Vodafone in September 2010 and is currently leading the Vodafone IoT business in the Americas as President & Head of IoT Americas. He most recently held the position as Vice President IoT New Business Development, developing the Enterprise market, channels to market with its various segments and industries globally.

His responsibilities include leading the Americas IoT business, assure revenue delivery & growth including winning and developing key customers through multiple sales channels. Erik represents Vodafone’s IOT business and has full responsibility for Americas regional P&L delivery.

Erik’s experience has spanned the globe with multiple roles in Europe, based in Spain and Germany and over 20 years in the Americas. Erik was born in Germany, lived in Spain, Mexico and Canada.

Johan Pedersen

As Vice President Product and Marketing for Ignion, the company behind the Virtual Antenna technology, Johan drives marketing and the new business strategies and partnerships to scale the reach of Ignion’s portfolio.

With more than 12 years in the IoT industry, Johan has served roles both as manager within product marketing and product management at Silicon Labs and Sigma Designs as well as been lead specialist at Force Technology & DELTA consulting companies on their new IoT designs including both wireless technologies choice and energy harvesting. Johan holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Denmark (with stays at Caltech, US & TU Berlin, DE)
