Renil Paramel
CEO & Co-Founder, Strategy of Things
Renil is CEO & Co-Founder and Senior Partner at Strategy of Things, an innovation company focused on management consulting, market intelligence and Innovation Labs in emerging technologies. Renil has over 24 years of experience, including 22 years of professional consulting experience serving clients in Business and Technology divisions of various Fortune 500 companies.

Prior to Strategy of Things, Renil was a Vice President with Gartner Consulting and worked for both Accenture’s and Deloitte’s Technology strategy practices. Renil’s current focus is on Smart Cities, Enterprise and Industrial IoT and Smart Buildings. Key technology areas include end to end IoT solution from sensors, gateways, connectivity, cloud, analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Renil is a member of Telecom Industry Association Smart Buildings working group defining standards and framework for a smart buildings certification program. He is also a member of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Global City Teams Challenge (GCTC) Wireless Supercluster, Smart Building Action Cluster and Smart Region Collaborative. Renil played an instrumental role in designing, setting up and operationalizing SMC Labs, a smart region innovation lab funded and operated by San Mateo County in California and is currently working on a NIST cooperative grant to identify IoT infrastructure gaps across ten industries in the United States.

Curtis Govan
President, Americas, floLIVE
Curtis Govan serves as floLIVE’s President, Americas. He is an accomplished leader with 25+ years of broad experience and expertise in technology leadership, business development and sales. He was most recently the GM/Global VP Dealer and Heavy Equipment for Uptake, an industry leader in industrial artificial intelligence and IoT. Prior to joining Uptake, Curtis spent almost 12 years with Cisco Jasper where he held several roles with the most recent being Head of Global Sales Business Development and Regional Managing Director – Canada.

Carmen Redondo
Director of Global Marketing for Antennas, KYOCERA AVX
Carmen Redondo is currently Director of Global Marketing for Antennas at KYOCERA AVX. She has 15+ years of experience in antennas, having held different roles from engineering, project management to general management. Thanks to her technical background, Carmen actively supports customers in their design development of wireless devices to enhance connectivity in different applications like automotive, Wi-Fi or IoT. As Director of Global Marketing, she is responsible for the implementation and management of strategic projects and programs worldwide as well as the roadmap of new products and tools to fulfill customer needs ahead.

Tushar Sachdev
Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President, Analytics, KORE
Tushar Sachdev serves as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Analytics, where he oversees current technology and sets KORE’s future technology vision, strategy, and roadmap. Tushar has more than 20 years of experience in technology and product development at companies including NIIT, Infosys, and PRGX - where he served as Chief Information Officer. Tushar has developed SaaS-based software platforms and data analytics capabilities to serve more than 300 customers worldwide, including thousands of suppliers.

Erik Kling
President & Head of IoT Americas, Vodafone Business
Erik Kling has more than 25 years of experience in the communication technology field covering hardware, software, services and solution elements of the industry. Erik has held senior sales and product management roles at Siemens Communications and wireless startup companies along with over 15 years specifically in the IoT space.

Erik joined Vodafone in September 2010 and is currently leading the Vodafone IoT business in the Americas as President & Head of IoT Americas. He most recently held the position as Vice President IoT New Business Development, developing the Enterprise market, channels to market with its various segments and industries globally.

His responsibilities include leading the Americas IoT business, assure revenue delivery & growth including winning and developing key customers through multiple sales channels. Erik represents Vodafone’s IOT business and has full responsibility for Americas regional P&L delivery.

Erik’s experience has spanned the globe with multiple roles in Europe, based in Spain and Germany and over 20 years in the Americas. Erik was born in Germany, lived in Spain, Mexico and Canada.
