Mike Lebrias (he/him) is currently finishing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Wind Conducting at the University of Texas at Austin where he studies with Professor Jerry Junkin and serves as an assistant instructor for the UT Bands. His responsibilities at UT include co-teaching undergraduate conducting, serving as an assistant conductor for the concert bands, and a teaching assistant for the Longhorn Band.

An active clinician & guest conductor, Mike has worked with various high schools & middle schools across the country throughout his career. He has made conducting appearances with all-district & region bands, professional bands, and British-style brass bands alike. Mike is also active in the transcription and arrangement realm, where he has transcribed multiple works for winds, most notably Leonard Bernstein's "Jeremiah" Symphony & "Orbital" (originally for percussion quartet and orchestra) by New Zealand composer John Psathas - in addition to a large body of arrangement work for collegiate and high school marching bands.

Recently, Mike has taken up content creation and maintains a steady presence on social media platforms. He aims to provide educational music and conducting content to his viewers, with hopes to help bring the Wind Band art form into the mainstream.

Jacquéline Hairston is the Director of Bands at Franklin High School. She is currently in her eleventh year as a music educator and her seventh year at Franklin High School. Prior to teaching at Franklin High School, Jacquéline began her earlier years teaching beginning band, beginning strings, and general music at various elementary schools in Stockton, CA.

Jacquéline received her degree in Music Education and Clarinet Performance from California State University, East Bay (formerly California State University, Hayward). Still an active performer, Jacquéline performs with the Stockton Concert Band on Clarinet and Bass Clarinet and continues her musical connection in the Bay Area by performing as a pit musician for children’s musical theatre companies during the Winter and Summer months.

When she isn’t performing or teaching high school band, Jacquéline is filming and creating content for her social media pages (@that_bandteacher_lady) where she offers tips and advice for band directors and students, behind the scenes moments of the life of a band director, videos that highlight the humorous side of the band world, and an occasional jab at trumpet players.

Jacquéline is a member of the California Band Director’s Association, the Northern California Band Association, the Association of Black Women Band Directors, and the Minority Band Directors National Association.

Julia Papillon graduated from Marquette University with a B.A. in advertising and a minor in French. Her background in music stems from a life in choir and band. Vocally, she's a second alto. Instrumentally, she plays piano, saxophone, and bassoon. Julia works as Hal Leonard's Digital Content Creator and Social Media Manager. In this role, she taps into her years as a music student when creating social media content for Hal and its digital partners
