In April, H.E.R. teamed up with Chris Brown for her latest single “Come Through,” which was produced by Cardiak. Last month, her Herb Alpert-sampled track “Damage” was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

H.E.R. dropped the funky "We Made It" single on Friday (June 11) and revealed that her anticipated full-length debut, Back Of My Mind, is due out on June 18.

"I've been really feelin' like/ Always been a long time/ There was early mornings, late nights/ We was prayin' for the sunshine/ Oh and this whole time, I've been at it/ If you want it outside, you won't get it/ Can't break me, I won't let it," she sings over jittery drums and keyboard washes on the new single.

"Run red lights and following the signs/ It's been a long ride and I just can't believe/ Can't believe we made it," the singer adds on the dreamy chorus of the song co-produced by DJ Camper and Ronald "Flippa" Colson.

H.E.R. revealed that her much-anticipated new album, titled Back of My Mind, will be released in just one week: on June 18th.

Ahead of the LP, H.E.R. also dropped the new single “We Made It,” as well as an album trailer where she discusses the inspiration behind the album title. “It’s like a peek into my soul,” H.E.R. said of Back of My Mind.
