ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
On July 6th, 2020, the Department of Homeland Security put forth a new rule that bans international students from returning to or remaining in the United States if their university adopts an online only instruction model. This has stoked anger among students and added more confusion to an already chaotic scenario created by the COVID19 pandemic.
This order has also provoked strong responses form the universities who rely on international students for a significant part of their income, as over 85% of international students pay the full tuition. In fact, in the year 2018-19, international students contributed $41 billion to the U.S. economy.
Join Soundarya Balasubramani, Product Manager at Salesforce & Author of "Admitted" (a guide on studying abroad), and Rishabh Singh, the founder & CEO of Gradly, to discuss the recent ban and separate fact from fiction.
