Dennis Kambeitz - Founder / CEO, Robots.Education
Dennis is recognized as a world leader in robotics and computer science education. He has helped more than 20,000 educators understand how robotics and AI will transform the workplace, and has trained hundreds of educators on best practices for teaching robotics. His strategies for increasing engagement in robotics and programming courses have been developed through direct interaction with more than 18,000 students, and have proven successful across all grades and levels of academic ability. Schools that follow Dennis’s recommendations have seen enrollment in robotics and computer science programs increase by more than 1000%. His presentations have been described as “Paradigm changing” and “Something ALL educators needs to see”.

Dr. Hamood Alharthi - Founder of Majan Education and Former Undersecretary, Education and Curriculum, Ministry of Education Oman
Former Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education (Oman) Dr. Hamood K. Al-Harthi is the founder of Majan Education. He received his Ph.D. in International and Developmental Education from the University of Pittsburgh, USA (2002); MA in Sociology of Education from the University of London, UK (1998); and Bachelor of Education in Teaching History from Sultan Qaboos University, Oman (1995). Dr. Al-Harthi worked as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Education and Curriculum in Oman from 2012-2020. Before that, he was an Assistant Professor in the College of Education, Sultan Qaboos University. Dr. Al- Harthi’s other professional careers and experiences include Assistant Dean for Training and Community Service, and Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at the College of Education, Sultan Qaboos University.. On the International front, Dr. Al-Harthi served as the Chairperson on the Board for UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education, the Chairperson of the Executive Council of the Arab Bureau of Education as well as Consultant and Academic Review Specialist for United Nations Development Programme amongst other appointments.

Sreejit Chakrabarty - Director of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, GEMS Dubai American Academy
Sreejit Chakrabarty is the Director for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at GEMS Dubai American Academy , the flagship academy of GEMS Education, one of the world's largest independent K – 12 education providers. He is also the director of the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence. He is from Mumbai, India. Before joining GEMS, Sreejit worked as an external consultant supporting schools in implementing Robotics and STEM-based solutions; including curriculum development, research, training, and Professional Development. He has also worked extensively with the Ministry of Education in UAE, Oman, Qatar, and India in developing strategies for incorporating STEM and Robotics in their respective curriculums, and has trained ministry teachers across the region. Sreejit holds a Bachelors of Electronics Engineering from Mumbai University, a Masters in Business Administration from MGU and several professional recognitions from Harvard, IIT (Mumbai) and Carnegie Mellon University in Robotics and Maker Centered Learning. His passion for researching emerging technologies and finding ways of extracting educational benefits out of them is what gets him excited. Sreejit is also working closely with TMRW (the R&D edtech wing of the company) and is the Network Leader across GEMS for Robotics, STEAM, and AI.

Maria Vitoratos - Careers Educator and Coach, Dubai English Speaking College
Maria Vitoratos is the Head of Careers at Dubai English Speaking College, the Founder of the UAE Careers Community and an avid careers practitioner who engages with colleagues across the globe. She continues to strive to change the conversation from 'what university degree to you want to complete to what do you want to bring to the world and how can post-secondary experiences and education help you to achieve these career and life goals'? Maria is an active member of the global careers education community and finds every opportunity to enrich her skillset so that she can create a careers provision that will both prepare and ignite enthusiasm in the youth of her educational institution and the UAE.

Anthony Copeland - Middle School Curriculum Coordinator, Fairgreen International School
Anthony has recently joined Fairgreen International School where he is the curriculum coordinator for the middle school. He previously worked in Hong Kong as a learning technologies coach for the English Schools Foundation. He strongly believes in utilizing constructionist learning for STEAM education and sees the maker movement as fertile ground for discovering projects that achieve this. Anthony has run previous workshops on computational thinking, gamification and maker education for 21st Century Learning, ESF Conferences and STEM MENA. He has written for the International Baccalaureate Organization and is currently writing a larger publication on Artificial Intelligence in Education. Anthony is also the creator and owner of Maker Learners, an website for educators and enthusiasts that are developing projects that sit at the intersection between STEAM and Maker Education. His main interests are programming, XR and AIEd. In his spare time he runs Codecademy's only Dubai chapter; a community of teachers that create interdisciplinary learning experiences using programming.
