Do long setup times and high process variability keep you up at night? Join Mate Precision Technologies for an informative webinar about its new, made-in-USA 52/96 precision workholding system that's specifically designed to keep you in the cut.

As a precision manufacturer, finding the right workholding solution was a constant challenge for Mate Precision Technologies. Like many companies, Mate wanted to ensure setup times were as fast as possible. Given the precise nature of their products, keeping process variability to a minimum was paramount.

When they couldn't find what they wanted, Mate decided to make its own 52/96 workholding system. It was so good that Mate believed other manufacturers would want it and made the decision to enter the workholding market.

Mate engineered Mate DynoGrip self-centering vises specifically to shorten setup time and reduce process variability. The result is best-in-class accuracy of vise clamping on center and best-in-class repeatability of vise return. Seeing that jaw changeovers increased setup time, Mate developed interchangable and reversible quick-change jaws that simply snap on and off with the use of tools. Mate also looked at the foundation and developed the DynoLock base system that offers best-in-class accuracy, repeatability and holding force with its Zero Point quality engagement system.
