Jim is the general manager at Conair and has over 34 years of experience in the plastics industry. Jim holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Bradley University. Jim first worked as a manufacturer's representative in the industry, providing solutions in tooling design, injection, blow molding and the extrusion markets.

Since then, Jim has provided technical design for cooling systems in the manufacturing market and co-authored the study titled "A study comparing electric, oil and pressurized water heating for composite molding".

Recently, Jim has focused on developing more energy-efficient plant cooling and reducing water waste with more environmentally-friendly solutions.
