Chad Root was the former general manager of hot runner systems and controls at Fast Heat and is now an entrepreneur, acquiring the remaining Fast Heat product lines in the injection molding industry in late 2020 along with former Fast Heat colleague Manny Diaz. Chad is the founder of Root Industrial, a representation agency providing solutions from principals including Wittmann, Zeiger Industries, Great Lakes Automation, Ready Cobot and others. He is the founder of Spearhead Sales and Marketing, a consulting and marketing services group that drives online traffic, lead generation, e-commerce and marketing automation solutions for manufacturers. Chad holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve's Weatherhead School of Management and a bachelor's degree in architecture from The Ohio State University.
