Industrial wastewater generated from product finishing, such as electroplating and electropolishing, contain heavy metals which must be removed to meet discharge compliance. ElectraMet has developed a process to remove and recover these metals, turning a waste stream into a valuable resource. Metals such as copper are collected as metallic sheets and sold to a recycling partner, creating a sustainable circular economy.
