If you've played or watched sports in the last century, you've likely heard of Wilson. They make everything from NBA basketballs to tennis racquets on display in center court of Arthur Ashe. You can bet they have some serious manufacturing know-how. But times are changing and Wilson is at the forefront of the next manufacturing technology revolution: 3D printed tooling.

Join Wilson's Glen Mason and Nexa3D's Lewis Simms as they discuss a promising technology to bring products to market faster, more affordably and with more flexibility. They will cover using 3D printed molding tools using Nexa3D's ultrafast 3D printers combined with tool-performance resin and molding hardware from Addifab.

Glen Mason
Manager, Advanced Innovation and Industrialization; Wilson Sporting Goods
Glen Mason is the innovation and industrialization manager for Wilson Sporting Goods/DeMarini Sports in Hillsboro, Oregon. In 1993 he took the lead at his family's plastic injection molding business; with a little luck and a lot of hard work, he turned two employees and some obsolete equipment into a 30-person, state-of-the-art manufacturer and a critical vendor for Wilson Sporting Goods. In 2019, he sold his business to Wilson and integrated into the R&D team at DeMarini Sports, working on materials research, robotic automation, advanced 2D and 3D printing and changing possibilities in manufacturing for sporting goods. His transition inside the company opened up new opportunities to take a leadership role focused on social justice, steering Wilson towards a more equitable and inclusive culture and working towards a more diverse workforce and vendor group. Glen is passionate about creating new opportunities in manufacturing and solving complex problems with injection molding.
