New aerospace-approved resin systems for HP-RTM processes result in significantly reduced cycle times.

High-pressure resin transfer molding (HP-RTM) has been around for more than a decade now and is widely used in automotive production. Additionally, highly-reactive, two-component snap cure resins have been around as well. The disconnect has always been the transition from out of autoclave (OOA), vacuum bagging, vacuum-assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM) and other traditional resin transfer molding (RTM) processes—especially in the aerospace markets.

This webinar will reintroduce the equipment and process of HP-RTM, compression resin transfer molding (C-RTM) and liquid composite molding (LCM) from KraussMaffei and Hexcel will present their portfolio of aerospace-grade 2K systems. When these are brought together, you will see the overall benefit of the system and cure times of 30 minutes or less.
