This 2-part webinar series explores the pathophysiology and etiology of Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) and histamine reactions secondary to other conditions. Mast cells are influenced by environmental, dietary, genetic, and epigenetic factors. A thorough natural approach involves calming mast cells through herbs and foods, avoiding triggers, and addressing root causes such as vagal nerve tone, hormonal balance, toxic burden, infections, and dysbiosis. Using case studies, participants will gain a practical practitioner toolbox that includes dietary and nutrient strategies, herbal supplements, and lifestyle interventions for comprehensive mast cell support.
Part 1: Dietary Approaches & Herbal Support for Mast Cell Stabilization*
Summary:
In this session, we will focus on calming mast cell overactivity through targeted dietary choices and herbal support.* We will review how to differentiate primary MCAS from histamine intolerance secondary to other disorders, identify common triggers, and explore nutritional strategies to stabilize mast cells and lower inflammation.* Participants will gain practical tools for implementing low-histamine diets, nutrient therapy, and mast cell–modulating botanicals in clinical practice.*
Learning Objectives:
By the end of Part 1, participants will be able to:
1. Differentiate between primary MCAS and secondary histamine intolerance.*
2. Identify dietary, environmental, genetic, and physiological factors that trigger mast cells.*
