Hydro planning expert at Fortum Trading and Asset Optimization
Tuomas is a business developer at Fortum, a leading clean-energy company with a mission to drive the change towards a cleaner world by reshaping the energy system, improving resource efficiency and providing smart solutions. Tuomas works in the Trading and Asset Optimization business unit with various development projects related to trading and operation of power production plants and other assets. He is also the product owner of APOLLO system used for mid-term hydro power optimization at Fortum. Tuomas has extensive experience in portfolio management in energy markets, especially in hydro power optimization, pricing and bidding. He holds M.Sc. degree in engineering physics and mathematics (systems and operations research, applied mathematics). In his spare time Tuomas plays golf and does alpine skiing and recharges his batteries at the summer cottage walking in forests picking mushrooms.
