Gerard is responsible for leading the efficient and effective operational, data and systems platforms and frameworks to support the investment function and internal asset management capability.

He has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector and has led large-scale cross-functional global operating teams. He has also been responsible for significant transformational projects involving re-designing investment operating models.

Gerard holds a Master of Applied Finance, and a Bachelor of Business. He is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), a Fellow of FINSIA and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Terry Kyle is the country manager of Financial Risk Solutions (FRS).

In his role, Kyle is responsible for the growth and localising of InvestPro, FRS’ investment administration software, for the Australian superannuation, Asian funds, wealth and managed accounts markets.

During his career, he gained 30 years of experience in leading transformation delivery for financial services firms including Mercer, VicSuper, TAL, Perpetual, NAB, ANZ, Macquarie, Credit Suisse and AXA Financial.

Rein is the Head of Investment Performance & Operations at QSuper, where he is currently spearheading the supporting capabilities for the $100bn fund, including a transformational change across risk, data and performance.

He is a CFA charterholder, a qualified Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA), a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK (FIA), a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), a Financial Risk Manager (FRM), a Certified Investments Performance Manager (CIPM) as well as a Certified Investments Management Analyst (CIMA®).

Rein is also serving on the CFA Society Sydney Board of Directors, the CFA Brisbane President, the APAC Advisory Council for the Investments & Wealth Institute, the Education Committee for the CIMA Society of Australia and is the Australian representative on the International Actuarial Association’s Committee. He is also the Superannuation and Investments editor for the Actuaries Magazine.
