Chief Marketing Officer, Armstrong Transport Group
Lauren Russell serves as Chief Marketing Officer for Armstrong Transport Group, a
leading third-party logistics partner to shippers, carriers, and freight agents.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Lauren applies more than 20 years of experience in
logistics and transportation to planning, developing, monitoring, and implementing
overall business marketing strategies and procedures. Lauren ensures the
organization's message is distributed across channels and to targeted audiences to
meet corporate objectives.

Lauren also assists in managing Armstrong's Agent Recruiting team. She plans and
coordinates all special events relative to the agent partner program, including agent
conferences, reward trips, and recruiting events.

Lauren began her career as an Account Manager at C.H. Robinson's Chicago Central location in 2000. The next step in her career was to join the start-up American Transport Group. In this role, she oversaw the structure of the back office and led their recruiting efforts, growing the team to 150 employees. In 2012, after relocating to Charlotte, NC, Lauren joined Armstrong, managing human resources and recruiting new agents to join Armstrong.

Lauren earned her bachelor's degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois
Urbana-Champaign.

President and Chief Executive Officer, Armstrong Transport Group
Brian Mann serves as President and Chief Executive Officer for Armstrong Transport Group, a leading third-party logistics partner to shippers, carriers, and freight agents.

Brian is responsible for the vision and philosophy of Armstrong and executing the company’s mission. He focuses on relationship building, customer service, fiscal responsibility, and establishing a collaborative and inclusive work culture. Brian’s approach to leadership encourages promotion from within. He advocates a servant-leader philosophy that allows managers to emphasize developing and showcasing others.

A lifelong soccer player, Brian attended Jacksonville University on a soccer scholarship. In 2001, Brian joined Stonier Transportation where he served as Vice President of Operations. After NYK Logistics acquired Stonier, Brian spent the next three years opening offices throughout the United States. In 2008, Brian and a group of partners founded Eleets Transportation, a Sunteck agency in Jacksonville, Florida.

In 2014, Brian moved to Charlotte, NC, to serve as Chief Operations Officer for Armstrong Transport Group.

Brian is a recognized expert in the fields of logistics, third-party logistics, and transportation management. His specializations include supply chain management and optimization, operations management, air freight, freight forwarding, warehousing, customs regulations, and reverse logistics.

Division Vice President, Armstrong Transport Group
Matt Peters serves as Division Vice President for Armstrong Transport Group, a leading third-party logistics partner to shippers, carriers, and freight agents.

Matt manages sales and business development integral to growing revenues. In addition, he collaborates with Armstrong's leadership team on future strategic direction and analyzes markets to determine pricing strategies. Matt is also responsible for mentoring personnel and creating sales/account management processes.

With 14 years of experience as a logistics executive, Matt joined Armstrong in 2013 as the Director of Business Development. Prior, he served as a sales manager at C.H. Robinson. From 2012 to 2013, he was an Idaho district Export Council Member for the U.S. Commercial Service.

Matt graduated from the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in business management and human resources. He earned an Executive MBA from Boise State University.

A recognized expert in logistics, transportation, and account management, Matt specializes in business development, operations and supply chain management, and sales operations.

Vice President of Agent Development, Armstrong Transport Group
Tom Milosavljevich serves as Vice President of Agent Development for Armstrong Transport Group, a leading third-party logistics partner to shippers, carriers, and freight agents.

Tom leads efforts on agent recruiting and onboarding while overseeing a team of agent recruiters. He is responsible for the agent program's strategic planning, including identifying new target markets and acquiring new agent partners for Armstrong nationwide. Tom drives deal flow among the agent recruiters and is responsible for the Agent Recruiting department's overall success and budgeted goals.

Additionally, Tom oversees third-party application services that are integral to the day-to-day operations of each agency, including onboarding, training, retention, customer clearance, existing agency growth, and ongoing agency operations support. He also works closely with the Marketing department on new campaign initiatives.

Prior to joining Armstrong in 2011, Tom gained valuable industry experience at USA Logistics and C.H. Robinson Worldwide.

Tom graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Indiana's Kelley
School of Business.
