Parenting Today: Tools for Regulating Children’s Emotions and Keeping them Safe

Most people would agree that parenting is hard work, and children do not have an instruction manual. Most parents and caregivers do the best they can while parenting based on what they know and their resources while providing the best care possible to their children. As the world changes, so does parenting to some degree, including meeting the traditional and modern social and emotional needs of children. In this presentation, attendees will learn how to help children obtain emotional regulation and recognize and respond to potential warning signs that children may be in emotional and/or physical trouble today.
