Be Kind to Your Mind: Mental Health Basics (with Mental Health America)

After the last two years of pandemic living, many people realize that stress, isolation, and uncertainty have taken a toll on their well-being. Understanding and taking care of their mental health is more important than ever. During this 45-minute presentation with a 15-minute Q&A, attendees will learn more about the basics of mental health, gain information, techniques, and resources to address and manage mental health concerns, and learn how to support the mental health concerns of others.

BIO
Taylor Adams is Mental Health America’s (MHA’s) Director of Workplace Mental Health, who spearheads MHA’s efforts on its Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health national employer recognition program and its annual Mind the Workplace reports. Her previous work was focused on suicide prevention, and she brings this experience to support companies in evaluating and refining policies to support staff in their mental health journeys.
