This course has been created to increase the awareness of latest advances in treatment of facial wounds and dental trauma. The instructor will cover the background and history and incidence of facial injuries and dental trauma in healthcare, workers’ compensation, and industry. Participants of this course will receive information on existing resources to help them manage their cases. The instructor will also review current-lost time costs, while reviewing cost-containment strategies (RTW) with the use of latest advances in surgical treatment and prevention equipment.

Dr. Evans graduated from the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health on a military scholarship. Following graduation from dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency with the Army and enjoyed being stationed in GA, OK and WA. After completion of his tour with the United States Army, he joined the Army Reserves and currently practices in Salt Lake City, Utah. His clinical experience ranges from basic care, to patient education, esthetics and oral rehabilitation.

Terri has been in the workers’ compensation industry for over twenty years in a variety of positions that have enhanced her vast knowledge and experience of the marketplace, and which led to her overall career success. After attending the University of Kentucky, she began her career in workers’ compensation as an adjuster but was recruited by large cost containment company for a sales position. Since that time she has been in sales or sales management in the workers’ compensation industry. She has a broad level of experience working with not only insurance carriers and third party administrators but employers of all sizes.
