Vice President, Early Literacy Impact
In her role at EVERFI, Dr. Coleman enjoys collaborating with colleagues across units as well as external stakeholders on early literacy projects as a subject matter expert.

Dr. Coleman’s career focus on spoken language and literacy has been infused in her work in public and private schools, public and private universities, and a not-for-profit association. She is a co-president of Learning Disabilities Association of Georgia and a board member of Learning Disabilities Association of America.

English Learners District Coach
Julie is an EL District Coach in Perry Township, a district serving over 4700 EL students. In her 19 year career, Julie has been a kindergarten teacher, as well as a building's EL teacher, where she also served as a mentor for NIET. Julie has presented at the national, district, and building level about how to grow all EL students, including refugees, with varying language abilities.

Julie's speciality is building foundational reading skills while having high expectations for all students. She utilizes data as she collaborates with all the kindergarten and elementary buildings, as well as, district leadership in order to impact the young English Learners in Perry Township Schools.

Lauren is finishing her 19th year as a second grade teacher at Clinton Young Elementary in Indiana's Perry Township Schools. Working primarily with English language learners, Lauren is committed to ensuring that her students have the foundational language skills necessary to be strong learners.
