Superannuation: You’ll have an extra step to take if you have new employees who start from 1 November 2021 and they don’t choose a super fund. You may now need to request their ‘stapled super fund’ details from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

Casual Employment: In March 2021, the Federal Parliament passed legislation that made changes to Casual Employment in Australia. These changes amended the Fair Work Act and required employers to proactively offer casual conversion to eligible employees. This covers all casual employees and not just those covered by Modern Awards.
