The process industries have always been at the forefront of using computers and digital systems, and today there is great pressure to use the massive amounts of data and information coming in from these systems to transform operations, support remote working, and improve asset performance. These experts will share their experiences gained from years of deploying digital solutions and will provide guidance on how to implement digital twin technologies.

Scott Jenkins has been an editor at Chemical Engineering since 2009. He also has industry experience as a quality assurance chemist and research experience as a synthetic organic chemist. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, and a master’s degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
