Scott D Bruns is the Director of Power Markets at Enverus. He leads the research team who specialize in analyzing large datasets and developing proprietary models that enable our customers to make more informed decisions. As an expert in the ERCOT market, Scott provides comprehensive reports on market trends for Enverus clients and advises on topics ranging from asset siting to daily trading strategies. Leveraging his background in power trading and asset management, Scott contributes to the development of innovative SaaS products and offers expertise on US power market fundamentals. Prior to joining Enverus, Scott traded wholesale power and prepared fundamental analysis at Direct Energy. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Houston.

Michael Enger, currently the Interim Vice President of Energy Market Operations & Resource Planning, joined Austin Energy in 2001 after graduating from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Economics and a brief stint with a mutual fund company. Michael has spent nearly all of his 22 years at Austin Energy within the Energy Market Operations group performing or overseeing a variety of wholesale market and risk management tasks and projects but takes the greatest pride when identifying new opportunities, programs, or revenue streams that create additional benefit to the Austin Energy customer.

Aaron Larson joined the POWER team in September 2013 as an associate editor and was named executive editor in 2017. Aaron has a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering technology and a master’s degree, specializing in finance. He spent 13 years in the U.S. Navy nuclear power program, advancing to Chief Petty Officer. He has worked at commercial nuclear, biomass, and coal-fired power plants, functioning in operations, maintenance, safety, financial, and management capacities. Aaron holds a Chief A Engineer boiler operator license in the state of Minnesota.
