Jason Thompson
Senior Vice President – Power & HVAC Services, Pump Solutions, and Live Events; Sunbelt Rentals
Jason joined Sunbelt Rentals in 1999 and has spent his entire 24-year equipment rental career with the company. Now Senior Vice President of Power & HVAC, Pump Solutions and Live Entertainment, he leads one of the company’s fastest-growing divisions. Widely known for his technical expertise and ability to deliver innovative rental solutions, Jason believes that equipment rental companies have an obligation to deliver power to projects of any scale in a more sustainable way. Under his leadership, the Power & HVAC Services, Pump Solutions and Live Entertainment divisions are helping to revolutionize rentals as a responsible alternative to ownership.

A native of Tennessee, he lives in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

Mark Wilton
Director of Sustainable Energy – Power & HVAC Services; Sunbelt Rentals
Mark joined Sunbelt Rentals in 2013 and has held various leadership positions within the company’s Power & HVAC Services division. Today, he directs Sunbelt Rentals’ sustainable energy initiatives, working with customers to achieve their sustainability goals. His areas of focus include optimal sustainable energy solutions as well as equipment and services, monitoring, and reporting.

Mark has spent his entire career in the construction equipment rental and supply business, serving customers across major markets within the United Kingdom, Australia, and North America. He is a graduate of Reigate College in England. A native of London, he lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and daughter, who is following in her father’s footsteps as a second-year member of the Sunbelt Rentals team.

Aaron Larson
Executive Editor, POWER magazine
Aaron Larson joined the POWER team in September 2013 as an associate editor and was named executive editor in 2017. Aaron has a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering technology and a master’s degree, specializing in finance. He spent 13 years in the U.S. Navy nuclear power program, advancing to Chief Petty Officer. He has worked at commercial nuclear, biomass, and coal-fired power plants, functioning in operations, maintenance, safety, financial, and management capacities. Aaron holds a Chief A Engineer boiler operator license in the state of Minnesota.
