Many do not understand why leaders have an inner circle within a chosen team, wrongly pointing to this phenomenon as a sign of weakness on the leader's part. However, the inner circle phenomenon is strategic and represents among others, a phase through which team members must pass if they must become eligible as worthy successors. The truth on the other hand is that most employees who show disdain toward the inner circle desire to become members.
