Early Planning Imperatives for Modularization Success

Cathy is the Vice President of DyCat Solutions Inc., a company which provides innovative solutions to the heavy industrial business sector. She facilitates workshops and alignment sessions with customers using the DyCat “VALUE” methodology which enables the ability to achieve capital efficiency on programs and projects. She has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and most recently, she has worked as a WorleyParsons Subject Matter Expert in execution of a manufactured approach in heavy oil program delivery. The manufactured approach involves the development of a “minimum kit” modularized design that includes standardized engineering, procurement, and fabrication. She has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. She facilitates training, workshops and alignment sessions for Modularization and Facility Standardization methods.

Jeff’s most recent roles at Fluor included positions as the global lead of Supply Chain Material Planning, Field Material Management, as well as Supply Chain’s AWP SME, working alongside Construction and Fabrication toward larger and more thorough implementations. He has led Supply Chain teams on major projects in Oil & Gas, Mining, and Power, in North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Australia. In early 2020, Jeff transitioned from his 30 year Fluor career to his launching Constructing Supply Change LLC, a consultancy laser-focused on Digital Supply Chain concepts such as Material Planning, Metrics that Matter, Supply Chain’s role in AWP, material management systems integration, and practice and procedure improvement. He is a current member of CII Research Team 363 (Integrating the Supply Chain with AWP Practices). Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology (Law) from California State University, Sacramento, with graduate studies in International Business, and is currently studying in a certificate program in Business Data Analytics from MIT Sloan School of Business.

Tannis is the CEO of Trillium Advisory Group, an industry consultancy firm. Having begun her career in the field, she spent over 10 years wearing out steel-toed boots while accumulating a wealth of hands-on experience in the intricacies of construction project delivery. Since then, she has worked with some of the largest and most respected facility owner, engineering, and construction organizations globally to develop and optimize processes, educate and train project teams, and deploy new technologies.

Tannis is an active industry advancement advocate. She has been a guest lecturer at the University of Houston and for the Construction Industry Institute (CII) at the University of Texas at Austin. Tannis speaks at industry conferences globally on topics of industry innovation, Advanced Work Packaging, 4D/5D Planning, and advancing opportunities for women in construction. She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and is certified in project management by Stanford University's Center for Professional Development.

Gary is an innovative construction leader with over 30 years of global experience in the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of construction projects. He is a subject matter expert in Lean, Advanced Work Packaging and WorkFace Planning; he works with industry-leading clients to develop and deploy processes, procedures, and technology that provide quantifiable improvements in project and organizational performance.
