This is a how-to session. Discussed will be: how to use a spreadsheet to organize the literature in your field into the major discussions that impact your ideas, how to critically analyze the discussion so that you see the gaps your research or writing might fill, and how to write from the spreadsheet in your voice so you are leading the reader. Students can bring examples of the ideas they are trying to organize and the session will use research on phd completion as an example.
