Injunctions Explained Part 1: Definition and Types

ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
What if you move into a new house and your next-door neighbour plays loud music in the middle of the night every day?

What if you live next to a stadium hosting games every weekend, and the light in the stadium flashes inside your room, preventing you from sleeping?

What if customers of the business next door keep parking in front of your driveway, preventing you from leaving your home?

These are a few instances where you may ask your neighbour or the offending party to stop doing something bothersome to you. However, there are times when more than simply asking is needed to solve the problem. In such a case, you may ask the court to intercede to resolve the situation and force the offending party to discontinue their problematic behaviour. To do so, you will file an Injunction.

In part one of this webinar series, you will learn the definition and types of injunctions. Take this opportunity to learn about the options that best suit you and ask questions that will give you the information you need to move forward confidently.
